Some recent impact highlights…

Developing Young Leaders

In 2025, we coached a young leader to set up a new Youth Forum for Pinkston Watersports in Glasgow.

The forum engages young people in thinking about how Pinkston can get more young people from the local community involved in watersports.

“A wee email to say that the youth forum grew arms and legs and has continued to run all year. We ended up completing a canoe expedition down the Spey in September and now have a group of kids learning to white water kayak.

We've had two young people join Glasgow Kelvin College's outdoor ed course, three girls completing Duke of Edinburgh Award in paddle sports, two joining local paddle sport clubs that operate out of Pinkston and two completing their work experience here.

I just wanted to say thank you for your support at the beginning of all this, it has turned into my favourite project and one of the most meaningful bits of work I've been apart of.”

Developing Leaders with Lived Experience

We have been working with founder Fiona Reid for the past 3 years to set up her social enterprise Break the Mould CIC.

Break the Mould CIC supports women who have experienced trauma, sexual violence and trafficking.

The organisation offers women workshops where they take part in therapeutic sculpture and other creative activities.

Peer support is a key part of the model with women supporting each other over time with their recovery journey.

Developing Young Leaders

In 2024, we supported the running of a 10 day programme for young community leaders from across Europe

Supporting organisations working with people affected by trauma and abuse

In 2023-24, we worked with the brilliant team at SOHTIS (Survivors in Human Trafficking in Scotland) to develop a new strategy.

“I can't tell you how helpful it has been doing the strategic review but also having the plan and using it as a working document.

It has really helped me to stay on course. I now have a concrete way of prioritising and targets for delivery. Thank you so much!

You expertly guided me through new perspectives asking the right questions, which hit the nail on the head every time and supplied resources and activities for me to continue the learning outside of the sessions.”

“Jane supported the first stages of my CEO journey through non-directive approaches and open questions. She also shared many resources I’ve come back to again and again. I feel much more established in my role and see growth through my work with Jane.”
